The IBEW is proud to announce its partnership with the National Child Identification Program. The National Child Identification Program is a community service initiative dedicated to providing parents and guardians with a tool, the Child ID Kit, that they can uset to help protect their children. Upon request, the IBEW will provide the Local Union a one Child ID Kit per member, free of charge. A kit contains supplies to record medical information, a photo, a DNA sample, and fingerprints - everything law enforcement will typically ask for should a child go missing. A family then stores the completed kit safely at their home. In case of an emergency, the completed kit would be provided to law enforcement.
We encourage all of our members to take part in this free service to protect their loved ones. All members who are interested should email the local at email@example.com to reserve a kit. The final day to request a kit will be Thursday, August 31, 2017. Contact the hall for more information.
