We were not able to reach a local settlement on our contract that expires February 28, so we took our case to the Council on Industrial Relations. They reached a decsion and have sent it to us.
March 1, 2021 3% increase to total package $1.45- $.98 in the wage (JW wage $32.44)
March 1, 2022 3.5% increase to total package $1.70 - $1.15 in wage (JW wage $33.58)
March 1 2023 3.5% increase to total package $1.75 - $1.18 in wage (JW wage $34.77)
Total package in year three will be $51.52!
Honoring civil rights icon and labor activist - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day will be an official IBEW 666 holiday!
First year apprentices (period 1 & 2) increase percentages to 53% and 55% respectively to make up for the lack of SERF contributions.
New working owner language to help members that want to go into business.
CE/CW addendum has new language to ensure those classifications have training available and limits ratios to 1JW to 2 other classifications.
Tool list changes the coltage tested to a class 3 to ensure we are complying with safety standards.
We will get a letter out with all the language as it will appear in the contract as soon as possible.
